Dear sector members;

We are striving to bring our rich country resources, which are the unique legacy of those who entrusted the Republic of Turkey to us, to our economy in the most efficient way with our technology, qualified human resources, knowledge and experience.

Although we have been involved in many different sectors with the investments we have made so far, we always see our mining activity, which has a family story of about 70 years, as our main business, and we continue to experience the spiritual pleasure of contributing to the country's economy with the support we receive from our productive power.

While processing our underground riches in our mining works, we show maximum sensitivity to the protection of the natural texture of nature. Along with our environment and people-oriented understanding, it has been our main motto to maintain the "quality product and service" approach that will meet the needs of our consumers at the optimum level!

Today, we pray and hope that Ökten Group of Companies will continue to work hard, improve itself every day and continue to offer its services with determination and determination for many years to come.

Kadir Ökten, who got a start in business at a young age, has various initiatives in addition to mining. Most important one of these initiatives is the Civil Aviation Pilot School established by Star Aviation, which has many certified civil helicopter pilots.

The first ballistic coating factory established by Teknoteks using ballistic Kevlar of Dupont brand is another successful initiative of Kadir Ökten. 

This factory produced bulletproof vests with ballistic protection approved by NATO Standard, it also produced ballistic armored vehicles such as coated combat and normal vehicles. Thanks to the efforts of Kadir Ökten, we have pioneered in the supply of ballistic products to the General Directorate of Security and Turkish Armed Forces, we supported the training of experts in ballistic protective equipment in our country and provided our country with very valuable information in this sector.

Moreover, Kadir Ökten has undertaken many successful projects and thanks to his innovative and visionary perspective, he has created opportunities of employment in our country, achieved many firsts, and has been respected in the lands of the Republic of Turkey.

Our Chairman of the Board, Mr. Kadir Ökten is one of the brave entrepreneurs who have broken new ground in our country with his uninterrupted 50 years of business life, with his important initiatives in different sectors besides mining.

If we express the most notable among them; One of the issues of serious importance for our country is the establishment of the "first" Civil Aviation Pilot School named "Star Havacılık" and the training of many certified civil helicopter pilots.

The other is that it has made the “first” ballistic coating factory investment under the name Teknoteks, using Dupont brand Kevler type Ballistic raw materials. Nato Standard approved ballistic bulletproof defense tactical vest production, as well as the production of combat and normal vehicles, as well as bulletproof ballistic armored vehicles in our country. In this way, It had the chance to serve as a manufacturer-supplier in the first place in the supply of ballistic products to T.C. Police Department and T.C. Armed Forces, and provided the training of technical experts in our country on "ballistic protective equipment solutions", and brought a very valuable know-how to our country in the sectoral sense!
